A little about me
I’m so glad you’re here! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ashley. My relationship with God is the most important thing to me, I try to be a better person every day and love like Jesus loves. I’m a wife to an amazing handsome man, and a mother to a perfect little boy and a perfect little girl! These three are such blessings from God, my little family is everything to me and they have all made me a better person. I come from a small town and that small town feeling is something I love and cherish. I grew up hiking, fishing, and camping with my family, all stuff we still love to do. I absolutely love photography and creating, it brings me so much joy to be able to put all the thoughts and ideas in my head out into the world! When I’m not with my family or cleaning teeth ( oh ya I’m a dental hygienist too ) you can find me out and about with my camera capturing the love and fun between families!
So what got me into photography?
Well, I actually disliked getting pictures taken, I much preferred to be the one behind the camera. But losing a loved one made me realize the importance of actually being in the pictures, not just taking them. I suddenly found myself searching for any and every photo we may have been in together. And when I had babies of my own, I wanted to be present in pictures with them, not just for myself, but so they can have memories to hold onto and hand down for generations. When I started taking photos of my own family, I learned that my style definitely wasn’t a stop and pose kind of style, I myself wanted to be comfortable and not worry about staring straight into the camera. So, after setting up the tripod many times and just being present with my babies, I saw how beautiful and effortless a session can turn out. I was hooked. And I want you to feel the same way when you come to me.

I played water polo in high school and college, I compete in jiu jitsu and do hot yoga!

I am 100% a cat person, I have 5! I absolutely love ALL animals, we have a rottweiler who’s a big ol cuddle bear, but cats just have my heart!

I play the guitar! My dad taught me when I was in 5th grade. He bought me my first guitar and I’ve played ever since!
